"The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." (Genesis 2:15).
Reflection:
The Lord commands Adam to care for the garden. But Adam failed, because the serpent got in, and then began tempting Eve. Adam did not exercise the necessary vigilance to prevent the serpent from entering in the first place!
A key reason why women get abortions is the failure of the baby's father to encourage them to do what is right.
Prayer:
Lord, send your Spirit upon all men. May they not fail to guard and care for their families even amid the most difficult temptations against life. Amen!
